Welcome to my new Paris blog!
Born and raised in Melbourne by my wonderful Polish parents, I moved to London in 2012 and launched the London New Girl blog.
6 years of London life, a fiancé, a new puppy and copious amounts of coffee and wine later, life took me on another adventure. This time to Paris!
Like so many others, I guess you could say I moved to Paris for love. My fiancé was offered his dream job here, so of course I followed.
Giving up my family, friendships, work and English-speaking safety net hasn’t been easy but I have absolutely no doubt in my mind that I was born to live in Paris! That sounds ridiculous I know 🙈. But I came close to moving here so many times! Then, just as I’d given up on the idea, Paris presented itself on a silver platter.
So here I am now. Living in Paris and navigating my way through a new life, a new language and new coffee shops.
London New Girl focuses a lot on helping others move to London but things are a little different here on New Girl in Paris. I’m sharing what life in Paris is like from a newbie’s perspective (or an oldie’s – depending how long I stay!)
My London followers already know my obsessions and weak points. Finding the best flat whites wherever I go, excellent wines, cute dogs, delicious brunches, beautiful interiors and going on as many holidays as possible. That’s exactly what you’ll find on the New Girl in Paris blog, because I’m still crazy about all of those things and more.
So whether you’re living in Paris or just want some holiday inspo for your next visit – welcome! I’m excited to share a little bit of my new home city with you.
